مئذنة

The call to prayer,
at home.

Midhana keeps the hours of the day for you. A quiet word on your phone when the time comes, or the adhan itself through the speakers in your home. Nothing to count. Nothing to earn.

Today

Which prayer. How long. What's next.

One screen answers the three questions you actually have. The ring fills towards the next prayer; the list below holds the rest of the day. Skip an adhan or mute today with one tap, and the app does not ask why.

Speakers

The adhan, through your home.

Sign in with Sonos, tick the rooms, and choose a volume for each prayer. Fajr, softly, in the bedroom. Maghrib for the whole house. Hear it once before the first morning, so you know it works.

Ramadan

A month that changes the screen.

When Ramadan arrives, Today becomes something else. Suhur ends and iftar nears under a sky that moves through the day. The last ten nights are marked as odd nights only, never guessed at. Your fasting record stays on your phone, and nobody is counting.

  • Suhur and iftar reminders, timed to your method
  • A dua at the moment of iftar, then quiet
  • A private make-up log. No streaks, no scores, no shame
  • Eid hands back to the everyday screen, gently
Principles

What Midhana will not do.

Prayer is between you and God. An app should keep the time and get out of the way.

  1. 01
Count your streaks or score your prayers
There is no number to protect and nothing to lose.
  2. 02
Shame you for a missed one
Missed prayers and fasts can be noted, privately, so you can make them up. That is all.
  3. 03
Sell your data, or show you an ad
Your location stays on your phone. Premium pays for the app, not advertisers.
  4. 04
Pretend to know what it cannot
Laylat al-Qadr is marked as the odd nights, nothing more. When times are unavailable, it says so.

Be there for the first Fajr.
