Midhana plays the adhan through the speakers already in your home. Sonos works now, room by room. Other systems are on the way, and we will say so plainly when they are ready, not before.
The Sonos sign-in opens in your browser. Midhana never sees your password; Sonos hands back a key you can revoke at any time.
Your rooms appear as Sonos names them. Choose which hear the adhan, which prayers, and a volume for each. Fajr only in the bedroom; all five in the kitchen.
A short test plays at the volume you set. Trust is built by hearing it work before the first Fajr, not by hoping.
If a speaker shows up in the current Sonos app, it will show up in Midhana. Older products that only run the S1 app are not supported.
The adhan plays over your home Wi-Fi through your Sonos account. Your phone does not need to be in the room, or awake.If your internet or Sonos system is down at prayer time, the speaker stays silent. Your phone still notifies you. The app shows each room's status so you are not guessing.If a room is playing music, the adhan interrupts it and the music resumes afterwards.Speaker playback is part of Premium. Notifications on your phone are always free.We would rather promise less and ship it. No dates until they are certain.
