Delete your account and data

Settings → Account & sync → Delete account

Confirm once. Your account is removed immediately; if it was your household's last account, the whole household goes with it (the list on the right), and a confirmation is emailed to you. If you have Premium, cancel it separately in your Apple or Google subscriptions: deleting the account does not cancel billing, because we do not control it.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app, email us from the address on the account. We cannot delete an account without confirming you own that email, so we reply to it to confirm before anything is removed.

We respond within one month, as UK GDPR requires; in practice, within a few days.

What is deleted

• ✕Your account and email address, or the Apple / Google identifier you signed in with
• ✕Every phone registered to the household, with its push and session tokens
• ✕The Sonos connection and its tokens; Midhana is disconnected from your speakers
• ✕Midhana Speaker registrations and their tokens, so a still-powered speaker stops
• ✕Synced settings, including the stored location used for home speakers
• ✕The adhan schedule and delivery history
• ✕The link from any mosque you submitted to your device; the submission itself stays in the public directory, anonymised

What is kept, and why

• ·A PII-free deletion record: a hashed fingerprint of the email and a timestamp, as evidence that erasure happened.
• ·Your purchase history lives with Apple or Google, not us. We never hold payment details.
• ·Nothing on your phone is touched by a server-side deletion. Delete the app to remove local data.
